Golf Breaks at Bowood Park for 2024
Since its introduction to the golfing fraternity in June 1992, Bowood Park has been synonymous with value-for-money society days and residential golf breaks in our 31-bedroom hotel. The golf course has been built to the highest USGA specifications resulting in excellent year-round playability.
The clubhouse and hotel are both contained in one building and pose an impressive presence as you make your way through the entrance onto the driveway. The first and tenth tees sit just a matter of yards from the clubhouse which is perfect for two tee starts for large society/corporate days.
Set in 230 acres of rolling hills and woodland, the front nine holes allow you the opportunity to build a score while the back nine holes offer a much sterner test for all levels of golfer. Holes 11, 12, and 13 are arguably the most aesthetically pleasing holes you will play and have been likened to Amen Corner at Augusta National.
Our most popular golf breaks consist of one, two, or three-night stays which can include breakfast, dinner, and golf. All bedrooms are comfortably furnished with en-suite bathrooms and the majority of the rooms overlook the golf course and surrounding countryside.

Deposit and payment info-
If you are booked more than six weeks before your arrival date a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit payment of £35 per person is required at the time of booking. Full payment is then required six weeks before your arrival date.
If you book within six weeks of your arrival date, full payment will be required at the time of booking. Any deposits or prepayments taken at the time of booking are non-refundable.
Cancellation policy-
If you wish to cancel your stay…
20 rooms or less - If you cancel your golf break more than 7 working days in advance the initial deposit of £35 per person will be lost. If you cancel between 7 days and your golf break then the total payment is forfeited.
21 rooms or more - If you cancel your golf break more than 28 working days in advance 50% of the total payment is forfeited. If you cancel between 28 days and your golf break then the total payment is forfeited.
Any alterations to bookings in the form of reduced numbers after the initial deposit has been paid will incur a loss of the initial deposit only up to 7 working days before the event. Any drop-in numbers within 7 working days of the event will result in the total amount still payable. All deposits and payments are non-transferable to other services.
Terms and Conditions-
• Tee times must be booked in advance and are subject to availability. Additional rounds are charged at £35 midweek and £45 weekend.
• Dinner will be served in our Restaurant. If for any reason the Restaurant is closed, an alternate 2-course dinner will be provided in our Sports Bar. If you wish to have dinner in the Bar, please speak to our reservations team.
• Should you wish to reserve a specific time, please speak to reservations who will try to accommodate this for you.
• A charge applies for sole occupancy rooms. (Variable for times of year)
• All golfers on our course agree to the terms and conditions and golf rules. We reserve the right to ask you and members of your party to leave without financial reimbursement for misuse of our course or unacceptable behaviour at our resort.
• Please ensure you are familiar with the latest guidance at your time of visit and follow any safety notices around the resort.
• A full buffet breakfast including continental is included which may be plated or via buffet depending on occupancy levels.
• All ‘no-shows’ or non-arrivals will be charged at the full contracted rate. Bowood Park reserves the right to retain credit card details on the initial deposit payment or to invoice post-event for no-shows for reservations paid by BACS.
